The number of sailing enthusiasts grows every year but some factors are very limiting in organizing a sailing vacation. One, it is necessary to gather at least six to eight people to charter a middle sized sailboat, and two, in Croatia yachts are being charter on a weekly, Saturday to Saturday basis. That makes any short cruise over the weekend much more expensive than it should be. Siget Nautika offers the alternative; no matter how many, no matter when, no matter for how long – you can always go sailing!
We offer three different varieties of a sailing weekend:
Sailing picnic
- a relaxing cruise, no specific itinerary, no deadlines, no rush. Most of the time is spent in secluded coves or small ports; enjoying local cuisine, wine tasting, etc
Weekend sailing course
- the skipper is a licensed sailing instructor and provides tutoring lessons or even a complete sailing course. The course will not only include sailing, but more important also maneuvering, docking, navigation, anchoring and all the aspects of a real sailing cruise.
Regatta
Siget Nautika invites you to be a part of the racing team; register for a weekend and join a real official sailing race! After a day or two training, your skipper will take you racing to any one of twenty races a year
Race schedule
The usual sailing weekend begins Thursday afternoon and ends Sunday evening, but all other combinations are possible, provided there is a minimum number of participants.
The cost of a basic weekend sailing course starts at 200 EUR per person. The package includes accommodation on board the sailboat, the skipper/instructor, fuel and harbor fees.
*An obligatory surcharge is needed for food and beverages and should be paid on the spot to the skipper: 15 EUR per day.
